How to Enter: No purchase necessary. This sweepstakes begins on December 12, 2009 and ends on January 11. 2009. You can enter this sweepstakes by Online entry: Enter by visiting: www.http://rockofagesmusical.com/landing/amtrakcontest.php during the Entry Period.
Eligibility: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Online entrants must have email access as of December 12, 2009. Employees and their immediate families, including household members, of Rock of Ages, LLC (ROA LLC) & National Railroad Passenger Corporation “Amtrak”, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.
Conditions of Entry: If you are entering online, you must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made prior to December 11, 2009. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of ROA LLC & Amtrak. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Neither ROA LLC, nor Amtrak, nor their respective advertising and promotion agencies, nor any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, misdirected, illegible or postage due entries.
Prize: Grand Prize: (2) Tickets to Rock of Ages Musical & (2) on Amtrak’s Acela Express Business class service or Amtrak’s Northeast Regional Coach class service valid on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor between Boston MA and Washington DC (and any intermediate city pairs). Black Out Dates Apply.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACELA TICKETS
- This award cannot be bartered, transferred or sold. It has no cash value.
- This award it is not valid for multiple destinations.
- All reservations are subject to availability.
- Taxes and incidental expenses are the sole responsibility of each award recipient(s).
- Applicable blackout periods: This award is not valid for transportation during the following peak travel periods:
- Weekday Acela Express departures before 8:59 AM and between 2:00 PM-5:59 PM.
- September 4, September 7, November 24-25, November 28-30, December 17-23, December 26-30, 2009, January 3-4, February 12, February 15, 2010.
- Last Date to use Acela Express Travel Award Tickets: March 31, 2010
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ROCK OF AGES TICKETS
- Rock of Ages voucher may be used for performances November 1, 2009 – January 31, 2010 only and is subject to availability. This deadline will not be extended.
- This offer is valid for performances on: Mon 8 PM I Tues 7 PM I Thurs 8 PM I Sun 7 PM
- Not valid for performances November 23 – November 29, 2009 or December 21, 2009 – January 3, 2010.
- Tickets are subject to availability and prior sale and any reproductions of this certificate are invalid.
- This certificate is non-refundable if lost or stolen and non-exchangeable once the fax is received in our office. This offer is non-transferable. No cash exchange is permitted. Any attempt to sell this certificate constitutes fraud and will void this certificate.
Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries. By accepting this prize, you consent to Amtrak’s & Rock of Ages, LLC use of your name and image for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted.
Drawing: The prizewinner will be determined on or about December 12. 2009 by a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the end of the Entry Period. The random drawing shall be conducted by an independent judge whose decisions are final with respect to all aspects of the sweepstakes. The winner will be notified by telephone, mail and email, if provided. The winner is required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release, and return it properly executed within ten (10) days of attempted notification as a condition of awarding the prize. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or the winner fails to return the affidavits and release as specified, the winner will be disqualified and an alternative winner will be selected. ROA LLC & Amtrak is not responsible for technical, telephone, hardware or software malfunction, lost, interrupted, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, including the inaccurate or incorrect capture of online entry information, or any other errors of any kind, however caused, that may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. If, in Amtrak’s or ROA LLC’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with or alteration of any portion of the sweepstakes, or if any technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, Amtrak reserves the right to terminate the sweepstakes or void any or all electronic entries. Persons entering via the web (Internet) must provide a valid email address. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the sweepstakes judges in writing if the entrant changes his/her email address after entering the sweepstakes. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by Amtrak, ROA LLC or their agents.
General: The sponsors of this sweepstakes are Rock of Ages, LLC & National Railroad Passenger Corporation “Amtrak” This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited by law. The winner(s) agree(s) that Amtrak, ROA LLC, their affiliates and their agencies and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Amtrak reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner. U.S. law governs this sweepstakes.
