Chris D’Arienzo (Book): recently completed his directorial debut, Barry Munday (starring Patrick Wilson, Judy Greer, Chloe Sevigny, Jean Smart, Malcolm McDowell, Cybill Shepherd and Billy Dee Williams). Currently, Chris is developing a one-hour drama for HBO with Tobey Maguire as well as the feature film adaptation of Rock of Ages, which he will be directing for New Line Cinema in fall 2009. Chris would like to thank his family for supporting his love of theatre . . . and also thank those three stoners in high school, who threw his Trapper Keeper in the urinal, for introducing him to Guns N’ Roses. Kristin Hanggi (Director): Rock of Ages marks Ms. Hanggi’s Broadway directorial debut, after helming the musical’s Off- Broadway and L.A. productions. She also directed the NY and L.A. productions of the hit musical Bare (Ovation, L.A. Weekly Award); Pussycat Dolls Live at the Roxy with Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Charlize Theron; 2007 NY Fringe Best Play Winner, Catch the Fish; the L.A. premiere of Corpus Christi (Ticketholder Award); and the L.A. and NY productions of Ann E. Wrecksick. Other L.A. theatre: 12th Premise; 40 Days; Crane, Mississippi; Greystone; Wayside. Tom Watson (Hair and Wig Designer) is head of the wig department at the
Metropolitan Opera. He has designed wigs for more than 30 Broadway productions. Current and recent Broadway designs include Wicked, The American Plan, Impressionism, South Pacific, A Man for All Seasons, Cry-Baby, Sunday in the Park With George, Cyrano de Bergerac and A Tale of Two Cities.

Angelina Avallone (Make-up Designer). David Gibbs (Original Arrangements) served as the music director and arranger for the original Los Angeles run of Rock of Ages. He has written music for film and TV including Josie and the Pussycats, That Thing You Do, Dumb and Dumber, Alias, The OC, Smallville, What About Brian and many more. He was a founding member of the critically acclaimed Gigolo Aunts and has toured with such artists as Lisa Loeb, Counting Crows and Tom Morello. He is currently performing with the Low Stars and released a solo record as Kid Lightning.

Janet Billig Rich (Producer) is a music industry veteran whose current and past projects include Camp Lisa with Lisa Loeb, Life in the Fab Lane with Kimora Lee Simmons, Linkin Park’s Projekt Revolution, Rocked With Gina Gershon and the noted rock band Nirvana. Her other production of note is her twins.

Hillary Weaver (Producer) has produced 14 plays that have been nominated for numerous awards in seven years in Los Angeles. Notably: Pussycat Dolls Live at the Roxy with Christina Applegate, Carmen Electra and special guests Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Charlize Theron; Happy Birthday Wanda June directed by Emmy winner Robert Weide; Margaret directed by Mark Ruffalo. I would like to thank my husband Matthew Weaver for the ride of my life and give it up to my girls, Chase and August — this one’s for you!

Toni Habib (Producer) is very proud to be producing her first Broadway musical alongside her husband Barry Habib. She is also featured in the upcoming film, Sympathy for Delicious.

Paula Kaminsky Davis (Producer). Past social work administrator at LIJMC, where she produced health videos. An avid amateur photographer, she is the Nassau Region Hadassah event photographer. Simon & Stefany Bergson (Producer) are thrilled to be a part of Rock of Ages! Stefany’s theatrical producing credits include Spring Awakening, ChitaRivera: The Dancer’s Life and the national tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Stefany and Simon reside in NYC and Sneden’s Landing, NY. They have three children: Brianne, Alex and Mitchel.

Charles Rolecek (Producer) has arrived on Broadway via a previous life as a successful restaurateur and general businessman. First attempt at producing, but he feels this is “just the beginning!” He credits his interest in theatre to his son Alex, whom he has watched perform for more than a dozen years. Resides in NH with wife Karen.

Susanne Brook (Producer) has been involved in Broadway, Off-Broadway and many community theatre productions. She is thrilled to be part of the Rock of Ages team. Thanks to Mark for his unconditional love and support and to Farah, Melanie and Brielle for being an inspiration.

Israel Wolfson (Producer) is a member of the Wolfson Group, a family office that makes institutional investments in hedge funds and the private equities markets. He has recently joined Corner Store and is currently directing a documentary film on the financial community.

Sara Katz (Producer). Producing credits include [title of show] on Broadway, Things to Ruin: The Songs of Joe Iconis (Zipper Factory), world premiere of ReWrite by Joe Iconis.

Jayson Raitt (Producer). Credits: Vanities, A New Musical; Make Me a Song: The Music of William Finn (Off-Broadway, London); Being Alive (all-Black Sondheim musical); Truman Capote’s A Christmas Memory; NAMT Festival of New Musicals; and Pasadena Playhouse.

Max Gottlieb (Producer) produced and directed Raising the Heights distributed by Lions Gate Entertainment. Founder of MG Origins, Inc., a financing company active in film, TV and Broadway ventures and an investor in Corner Store Fund. Developing several film projects. John Butler (Producer). JB is excited about taking a first look into this new scene of producing after being stuck as a regional manager of Build-a-Bear in Atlanta for the past seven years. Thanks to Carl.

David Kaufman (Producer), once named a “Top 50 Entrepreneur” in the country, is currently president of TOUR GCX Partners, Inc., the only country club golf access card. Prior, he was a founder of Cosi Sandwich Bar and of Varsity Entertainment. He resides in NYC with his wife, the comic/writer Lisa Perlman, and their son, Joshua.

Jay Franks (Producer). After 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Jay has joined the Corner Store team to pursue his passion for the entertainment business. Jay is currently raising capital for the Corner Store Fund and is very excited to produce his first Broadway musical. Additionally, Jay also manages NYC band Oblivious, headlined by Mark Cooper. Michael Wittlin (Producer). Mr. Wittlin partnered with actor Corbin Bernsen to begin his career. He quickly gained a reputation for producing diverse and entertaining films. Wittlin’s projects attract top talent and directors. A visionary with a focus on results, his producing style is described as “hands on” and “patient.”

Jennifer Maloney (Producer) Broadway: Spring Awakening (Tony Award), Legally Blonde, Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, the upcoming Writing Arthur and I Love You Because (Off-Broadway).
